Greg Malloy
What sets my work apart is my extensive experience that goes into each art piece that I create. My artwork can be viewed as a happier version of Jackson Pollack. I mainly focus on making abstract impressionistic art resulting in happy, colorful art. Besides this, my style can also be categorized as surreal and bold. My canvas is an outcome of 30 years of experience, which is where boldness, surrealism, and various abstract impressionistic painting techniques meet to create a beautiful panorama for the eyes.

Casey Beal is a visual artist known for intricate and evocative depictions of the natural world through detailed illustration and expressive painting, primarily portraying insects, birds, aquatic animals, and plants in her work. With a background in biology and a Master of Science in this field, her work bridges the gap between scientific observation and artistic storytelling, inviting viewers to explore nature’s overlooked or hidden elements with new curiosity and reverence.

Axel Boinayel Santiago is a queer Puerto Rican multimedia artist residing in Cumberland, Maryland. His work explores the interconnected consciousness of nature within all living things and the way it peers back out. When not painting, he enjoys reading, writing poetry, exploring nature, and volunteering in his community.

I am a newcomer to the world of the arts. The journey began in early 2025 experimenting with various fluid art techniques and quickly evolved into what I describe as ‘Geometric Bio-surrealism’. I have been influenced by classic surrealists as well as by modern contemporary abstract artists. Always pushing my limits to the edges of my imagination.

Ed Coffey
Originally from Chicago, Ed Coffey received his BA from the University of Illinois in 1974. In 1977, Coffey relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. As a special effects artist, he worked with Disney and DreamWorks studios, and his film credits include TRON, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE LION KING, and THE PRINCE OF EGYPT.
Coffey’s 2D and 3D art has been displayed at the Allegeny Arts Council and at the Gilchrist gallery. He also assisted in completing a mural for our municipal park, designed a logo for the Locust Post Brewery, created a billboard for a local theater production, and made illustrations for two books of poetry.
Awards include Independent Studio Award- Chicago International Film Festival, Best of Show 2011 Western MD Watercolor Society, and runner-up for the LaVale Library public art project last year.

Charlene Mechem
Charlene Mechem was born in Johnstown, PA but was a long term resident of Cumberland since around age five. She worked as a restaurant owner and entrepreneur for 25 years, and sold her restaurant, Bunnies Tavern, in 2017. She then decided to pursue her life long passion for creating art, exploring her vivid and unpredictable imagination. Charlene created with pencils, pastels, and painted predominantly in acrylics for about 14 years. She found inspiration for artwork in her life experiences and observations, and enjoyed finding ways to express this in her work. She enjoyed experimenting with realism and working more abstractly, and mixing the two. Charlene primarily worked in bright colors, and enjoyed having more time to pursue art after her retirement in 2017. Her first art exhibit was Upcycled Art in 2017. Charlene previously wrote “It is my sincere hope that you enjoy my artwork as much as I have creating it”. After a courageous fight with cancer, Charlene Mechem passed away peacefully on August 22nd, 2025.
